Once I had finished almost all of the xmas presents, I decided to make something for myself! So I took my new knitting book and found this lovely pattern, the Bella cardigan. I got myself four skeins of the very lovely purple alpaca and went to work. Somehow, I felt the sweater was coming out too small so I started knitting even looser than normal. The result was that it was more than twice the size I needed for me. I got to give it to my lovely friend K and got more of the same wool (even the same lot!) to make one for me. I'm almost done with that so I will post more pictures soon!

The grey 'day' scarf and a late xmas present for Magnus
Once I was done with Eva and Sara's presents I had to get a move on Dag's present. Once that was done I needed to get wool for making Magnus's present. He chose it... but it was too think and didn't really make the pattern work, so we exchanged it. The second try? well, didn't work. Now I'm making it again but I think I won't have it ready until February. Thankfully, Scandinavian living allows for wool to be worn for longer than in other parts of the world (yay?)
This is the scarf for Dag. I realize I'm not saying the patterns I used but today I'm in a little bit of a mood so I'm refusing to do it. Dag's pattern is 'triumph cables' and can be easily found in Ravelry.
And this is a picture of the owner with the scarf on xmas eve :D
And because Mg is the reason for my mood today, I will give no further information on the scarf until he has made nice with me. I will also not knit on it. So there.
